Egis dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Anyang 's 34. They outrebounded Anyang 38-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Egis players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) accounted for 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for Anyang in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
